Billabong Pro Tahiti 2014 - Day Two
Billabong Pro Tahiti 2014 - Day Two - More barrels and action
The swell was not as big as yesterday for Day Tow of the Billabong Pro Tahiti and the wind that blew last night forced the contest director to start the event a little bit later in the morning but it paid off and really good barrels and overall conditions greeted the contestants.
The top pro surfers went for a free surf before the first heat of the day and it was again a barrels festival. Round 2 was almost finished today, the contest went on hold midway and started again at the beginning of the afternoon with good conditions and more barrels.
Everyone knows there's more swell to come and more action will be taking place at Teahupoo this week and/or early next week depending on the swell size, orientation and conditions. We'll keep you posted, follow us on Twitter and Instagram for instant alerts when the contest is ON.
Stay tuned for more and enjoy today's gallery including some free surf action and contest action.
