#BillabongBloodlines Camp 3
The Billabong groms prepare for the Triple Crown on the North Shore Oahu.
Earlier this month #BillabongBloodlines Camp 3 went down with our eldest crop of Bloodlines coming in to stay at the team house on the North Shore. The crew included Griffin Colapinto and Ryland Rubens of California; Shuan Manners, Kalani Ball, Ethan Ewing, Reef Heazlewood and Riley Laing of Australia; as well as Seth Moniz, Finn McGill and Loa Ng of Hawaii. The whole team was led by Coach Rainos Hayes and they focused on the Triple Crown venues during their weeklong training. Heats were run daily with even a few team events that dealt out extra chores to the losers. The boys scored great waves at Haleiwa, Off the Wall, and even got to test out their bigger boards in solid Sunset Beach. Towards the end of the trip the winds turned bad for the North Shore, so everyone packed up and headed over to Makaha for a couple of days. All in all, it was an extremely successful camp, and a great way to end the #Billabongbloodlines Hawaii camp series for 2015. Thanks to all of the parents on hand who helped cook and care for the team as well as legend and lead coach, Rainos Hayes!
