We're suckers for feel good Christmas stories. This one comes from one of our very own. This holiday season Billabong pro snowboarder Jamie Anderson decided she wanted to give back to kids from her hometown in South Lake Tahoe.

Creating the 'Jamie Anderson Surprise Sponsorship' providing less fortunate kids with the opportunity to snowboard. With the help of Dr. James Tarwater, the Lake Tahoe Unified School District Superintendent, Anderson worked with the school district to identify two students that showed academic promise, good work ethic, and moxie.

Jamie Anderson gives back

Jamie awarded two lucky middle school students, Rosa Rosas, twelve years-old, and Jesus Vazquez-Macias, thirteen years-old, an Unlimited Sierra Resort season pass, brand new Billabong outerwear, a GNU snowboard, boots and bindings, Electric goggles, and Skullcandy headphones valued at twelve hundred dollars each.
