• WSL: Joel Parkinson Wants to Right a Wrong in Fiji

Missing the Fiji event already? Yeah, us too. After what has felt like an extended string of lay days we're ready to see the guys get back in the water and pick up Round 3 where it left off. We're not alone in this desire, though, as Joel Parkinson is perhaps more hyped than anyone to get back in the water at Cloudbreak. Parko isn't shy about pronouncing Cloudbreak as his favorite wave in the world but despite his affections, he has never done better than a quarterfinal finish in the event. Speaking with the WSL, he said "That wave, I have a connection with it," before solemnly adding that "it just hasn't been proven with the results." Read more of Parko's interview with the WSL about the event and his love for Fiji here and be sure to tune in when the event is back on as he takes on Jeremy Flores in Heat 9 of Round 3.
