Local band´s lead singer Klaus Frankhauser from Sempre Caoz joined the action with his guitar for some unique gondola sessions, presenting his brand-new Välley Rälley song. Andreas MonEpic Monsberger captured all the highlights for you in moving pictures, goosebumps guaranteed:
After the forecast had predicted a great load of fresh snow for the 2nd stage of the Billabong Zillertal Välley Rälley, the Ästhetiker crew decided to hold the contest on Saturday. This turned out to be a good decision. Despite their busy contest schedules, more than seventy riders showed up for the contest and the startlist counted some big names of the European rookie elite. Strong teams were raising the bar once again at Zillertal Arena. The Billabong grom Lukas Garcia from Cerler, Spain got second in the grom category, great result for his second time in Austria.
As predicted, the weatherman delivered a great load of white gold in the night to Sunday. With pleasure, the coaching participants swapped park laps for powder runs all across the Zillertal Arena. As special guest, Klaus Fankhauser, lead singer from the local band Sempre Caoz, joined the crew on Sunday and presented his brand-new Välley Rälley song „Living Sideways“ in a first-class gondola session.
Heike Schoof from Marketing Zillertal Arena is delighted about the outcome: „ The annual Zillertal Välley Rälley is always a pleasure for us! Despite challenging weather conditions, we look back at another well-organised weekend with a great number of happy participants.“
